Jimmy Muhangi Bakesi

Jimmy Muhangi is a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Consultant with over 7 years of experience spread across Not-for-Profit, Private sector and the Public Sectors. He started his career as a Research Associate at Millenium Green Agenda Consults. He then worked in the Not-for-Profit sector, working with Global Rights Alert under M&E, where he assisted in establishing major ICT for M&E initiatives.

He later joined Haptech International Limited where he played a central role in delivering on a number of projects majorly the Kyambogo University Smart Dashboard Project and the Ministry of Works and Transport Statistical System, all aimed at improving Monitoring and Evaluation practices in the public sector.

Jimmy Muhangi is proudly associated with Rotary where he has offered significant volunteer hours to community service while nurturing his leadership skills. Through his Rotary Journey, he has led high impact planning and M&E initiatives and served up to the level of Planning, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation Chairperson of Rotaract District 9213 for the Rotary Year 2023/24.

He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation (Uganda Management Institute), a Bachelor of Science Degree in Quantitative Economics (Makerere University), and a number of certificates in Data Management and Analysis. He is a member of the Uganda Evaluation Association and long with the team at Sieve Consultancy, he hopes to support organisations navigate their internal complexities and transform their potential into performance.
